Free + Open to the Public
This May, Black Cube Fellows Joel Swanson and Laura Shill will open an exhibition in Venice, Italy, on the occasion of the 57th Venice Biennale. This exhibition will place these two Denver-based artists on the world’s stage. For more than a century, the Venice Biennale has been one of the most prestigious cultural institutions in the world. Ever since its founding in 1895, the Venice Biennale has been in the avant-garde, promoting new artistic trends and organizing international events in the contemporary arts. Swanson and Shill will participate in a satellite exhibition produced by Black Cube and the GAA Foundation titled Personal Structures. Come, grab a beer, and listen to a little bit about the exhibition and artworks from the artists and curator, Cortney Stell.
Special thanks to DATELINE for partnering on this event and to Ratio Beerworks for hosting us.
